Our Mission Statement

To work alongside and enable those people in East Lothian who use or have used mental health services, to have their voices heard by providing Independent Advocacy so that they are involved in decisions which affect their lives.

 

Our Aims & Objectives
  • We speak up for mental health service users in East Lothian
  • We raise awareness of mental health issues
  • We speak out against stigma and discrimination
  • We work in partnership with the service providers
  • We show where there are gaps in mental health services
  • We participate in planning and managing mental health services
  • We facilitate training to provide skills and knowledge
  • We promote positive mental health and well being
  • We use social events to strengthen the group
